A Psalm of instruction for Ætham the Israelite.

|
Ми́лості Твоя́, Го́споди, во вік воспою́, в род і род возвіщу́ і́стину Твою́ усти́ мої́ми.
|
I will sing of thy mercies, O Lord, for ever: I will declare thy truth with my mouth to all generations.
|

|
|
Зане́ рекл єси́: в вік ми́лость сози́ждеться, на небесі́х угото́виться і́стина Твоя́.
|
For thou hast said, Mercy shall be built up for ever: thy truth shall be established in the heavens.
|
|

|
|
Завіща́х заві́т ізбра́нним Мої́м, кля́хся Дави́ду, рабу́ Моєму́:
|
I made a covenant with my chosen ones, I sware unto David my servant.
|
|

|

|
|
до ві́ка угото́ваю сі́м'я твоє́, і сози́жду в род і род престо́л твой.
|
I will establish thy seed for ever, and build up thy throne to all generations. Pause.
|
|

|
|
Іспові́дять небеса́ чудеса́ Твоя́, Го́споди, і́бо і́стину Твою́ в Це́ркві святи́х.
|
The heavens shall declare thy wonders, O Lord; and thy truth in the assembly of the saints.
|
|

|

|
|
Я́ко кто во о́блаціх уравни́ться Го́сподеві? Уподо́биться Го́сподеві в сині́х Бо́жиїх?
|
For who in the heavens shall be compared to the Lord? and who shall be likened to the Lord among the sons of God?
|
|

|

|
|
Бог прославля́єм в сові́ті святи́х, ве́лій і стра́шен єсть над всі́ми окре́стними Єго́.
|
God is glorified in the council of the saints; great and terrible toward all that are round about him.
|
|

|

|
|
Го́споди Бо́же сил, кто подо́бен Тебі́? Си́лен єси́, Го́споди, і і́стина Твоя́ о́крест Тебе́.
|
O Lord God of hosts, who is like to thee? thou art mighty, O Lord, and thy truth is round about thee.
|
|

|
|
Ти влади́чествуєши держа́вою морсько́ю, возмуще́ніє же волн єго́ Ти укроча́єши.
|
Thou rulest the power of the sea; and thou calmest the tumult of its waves.
|
|

|

|
|
Ти смири́л, єси́, я́ко я́звена, го́рдаго, ми́шцею си́ли Твоєя́ расточи́л єси́ враги́ Твоя́.
|
Thou hast brought down the proud as one that is slain; and with the arm of thy power thou hast scattered thine enemies.
|
|

|
|
Твоя́ суть небеса́, і Твоя́ єсть земля́; вселе́нную і ісполне́ніє єя́ Ти основа́л єси́.
|
The heavens are thine, and the earth is thine: thou hast founded the world, and the fulness of it.
|
|

|
|
Сі́вер і мо́ре Ти созда́л єси́; Фаво́р і Єрмо́н о і́мені Твоє́м возра́дуєтася.
|
Thou hast created the north and the west: Thabor and Hermon shall rejoice in thy name.
|
|

|
|
Твоя́ ми́шця с си́лою, да укріпи́ться рука́ Твоя́, і вознесе́ться десни́ця Твоя́.
|
Thine is the mighty arm: let thy hand be strengthened, let thy right hand be exalted.
|
|

|
|
Пра́вда і судьба́ — угото́ваніє Престо́ла Твоєго́; ми́лость і і́стина преди́деті пред лице́м Твої́м.
|
Justice and judgment are the establishment of thy throne: mercy and truth shall go before thy face.
|
|

|
|
Блаже́нні лю́діє ві́дущії воскликнове́ніє: Го́споди, во сві́ті лиця́ Твоєго́ по́йдуть,
|
Blessed is the people that knows the joyful sound: they shall walk, O Lord, in the light of thy countenance.
|
|

|
|
і о і́мені Твоє́м возра́дуються весь день, і пра́вдою Твоє́ю вознесу́ться.
|
And in thy name shall they rejoice all the day: and in thy righteousness shall they be exalted.
|
|

|
|
Я́ко похвала́ си́ли їх Ти єси́, і во благоволе́нії Твоє́м вознесе́ться рог наш.
|
For thou art the boast of their strength; and in thy good pleasure shall our horn be exalted,
|
|
19
|
19
|
|
Я́ко Госпо́днє єсть заступле́ніє і Свята́го Ізра́їлева Царя́ на́шего.
|
for our help is of the Lord; and of the Holy One of Israel, our king.
|
|

|

|
|
Тогда́ глаго́лал єси́ в виді́нії синово́м Твої́м і рекл єси́: положи́х по́мощ на си́льнаго, вознесо́х ізбра́ннаго от люді́й Мої́х;
|
Then thou spokest in vision to thy children, and saidst, I have laid help on a mighty one; I have exalted one chosen out of my people.
|

|
|
обріто́х Дави́да, раба́ Моєго́, єле́єм святи́м Мої́м пома́зах єго́.
|
I have found David my servant; I have anointed him by my holy mercy.
|
|
22
|
22
|
|
І́бо рука́ моя́ засту́пить єго́, і ми́шця моя́ укріпи́ть єго́;
|
For my hand shall support him; and mine arm shall strengthen him.
|
|
23
|
23
|
|
нічто́же успі́єть враг на него́, і син беззако́нія не приложи́ть озло́бити єго́.
|
The enemy shall have no advantage against him; and the son of transgression shall not hurt him again.
|
|
24
|
24
|
|
І ссіку́ от лиця́ єго́ враги́ єго́, і ненави́дящия єго́ побіжду́;
|
And I will hew down his foes before him, and put to flight those that hate him.
|
|
25
|
25
|
|
і і́стина Моя́ і ми́лость Моя́ с ним, і о і́мені Моє́м вознесе́ться рог єго́;
|
But my truth and my mercy shall be with him; and in my name shall his horn be exalted.
|
|

|
|
і положу́ на мо́рі ру́ку єго́, і на ріка́х десни́цю єго́.
|
And I will set his hand in the sea, and his right hand in the rivers.
|
|
27
|
27
|
|
Той призове́ть М'я: Оте́ць мой єси́ Ти, Бог мой і засту́пник спаcе́нія моєго́.
|
He shall call upon me, saying, Thou art my Father, my God, and the helper of my salvation.
|
|

|
|
І Аз пе́рвенця положу́ єго́, висока́ па́че царе́й земни́х;
|
And I will make him my first-born, higher than the kings of the earth.
|
|
29
|
29
|
|
в вік сохраню́ єму́ ми́лость Мою́, і заві́т Мой ві́рен єму́;
|
I will keep my mercy for him for ever, and my covenant shall be firm with him.
|
|
30
|
30
|
|
і положу́ в вік ві́ка сі́м'я єго́, і престо́л єго́ я́ко дні́є не́ба.
|
And I will establish his seed for ever and ever, and his throne as the days of heaven.
|

|
|
А́ще оста́в'ять си́нове єго́ зако́н Мой і в судьба́х Мої́х не по́йдуть,
|
If his children should forsake my law, and walk not in my judgments;
|
|
32
|
32
|
|
а́ще оправда́нія Моя́ оскверня́ть і за́повідій Мої́х не сохраня́ть,
|
if they should profane my ordinances, and not keep my commandments;
|
|
33
|
33
|
|
посіщу́ жезло́м беззако́нія їх і ра́нами непра́вди їх,
|
I will visit their transgressions with a rod, and their sins with scourges.
|
|
34
|
34
|
|
ми́лость же Мою́ не разорю́ от них, ні преврежду́ во і́стині Моє́й;
|
But my mercy I will not utterly remove from him, nor wrong my truth.
|
|
35
|
35
|
|
ніже́ оскверню́ заві́та Моєго́ і ісходя́щих от уст Мої́х не отве́ргуся.
|
Neither will I by any means profane my covenant; and I will not make void the things that proceed out of my lips.
|
|

|
|
Єди́ною кля́хся о святі́м Моє́м: а́ще Дави́ду солжу́?
|
Once have I sworn by my holiness, that I will not lie to David.
|
|
37
|

|
|
Сі́м'я єго́ во вік пребу́деть, і престо́л єго́ — я́ко со́лнце пре́до Мно́ю,
|
His seed shall endure for ever, and his throne as the sun before me;
|
|
38
|
38
|
|
і я́ко луна́ соверше́на в вік, і свиді́тель на небесі́ ві́рен.
|
and as the moon that is established for ever, and as the faithful witness in heaven. Pause.
|
|
39
|
39
|
|
Ти же отри́нул єси́ і унічижи́л, негодова́л єси́ пома́заннаго Твоєго́;
|
But thou hast cast off and set at nought, thou hast rejected thine anointed.
|
|
40
|
40
|
|
разори́л єси́ заві́т раба́ Твоєго́, оскверни́л єси́ на землі́ святи́ню єго́;
|
Thou hast overthrown the covenant of thy servant; thou hast profaned his sanctuary, casting it to the ground.
|
|
41
|
41
|
|
разори́л єси́ вся опло́ти єго́, положи́л єси́ тве́рдая єго́ страх.
|
Thou hast broken down all his hedges; thou hast made his strong holds a terror.
|
|
42
|
42
|
|
Расхища́ху єго́ всі мимоходя́щії путе́м, бисть поноше́ніє сосі́дом свої́м.
|
All that go by the way have spoiled him: he is become a reproach to his neighbours.
|
|

|
|
Возви́сил єси́ десни́цю стужа́ющих єму́, возвесели́л єси́ вся враги́ єго́;
|
Thou hast exalted the right hand of his enemies; thou hast made all his enemies to rejoice.
|
|

|
44
|
|
отврати́л єси́ по́мощ меча́ єго́ і не заступи́л єси́ єго́ во бра́ні;
|
Thou hast turned back the help of his sword, and hast not helped him in the battle.
|
|
45
|
45
|
|
разори́л єси́ от очище́нія єго́, престо́л єго́ на зе́млю пове́ргл єси́:
|
Thou hast deprived him of glory: thou hast broken down his throne to the ground.
|
|

|
|
Ума́лил єси́ дні вре́мене єго́, облія́л єси́ єго́ студо́м.
|
Thou hast shortened the days of his throne: thou hast poured shame upon him. Pause.
|
|

|
|
Доко́лі, Го́споди, отвраща́єшися в коне́ць, разжже́ться я́ко огнь гнів Твой?
|
How long, O Lord, wilt thou turn away, for ever? shall thine anger flame out as fire?
|
|

|
|
Пом'яни́, кий мой соста́в: єда́ бо всу́є созда́л єси́ вся си́ни челові́чеськія?
|
Remember what my being is: for hast thou created all the sons of men in vain?
|
|

|
|
Кто єсть челові́к, і́же поживе́ть і не у́зрить сме́рти, ізба́вить ду́шу свою́ із руки́ а́дови?
|
What man is there who shall live, and not see death? shall any one deliver his soul from the hand of Hades? Pause.
|
|

|
|
Гді суть ми́лості Твоя́ дре́внія, Го́споди, ї́миже кля́лся єси́ Дави́ду во і́стині Твоє́й?
|
Where are thine ancient mercies, O Lord, which thou swarest to David in thy truth?
|
|

|
|
Пом'яни́, Го́споди, поноше́ніє раб Твої́х, є́же удержа́х в ні́дрі моє́м мно́гих язи́к;
|
Remember, O Lord, the reproach of thy servants, which I have borne in my bosom, even the reproach of many nations;
|
|
52
|
52
|
|
і́мже поноси́ша вразі́ Твої́, Го́споди, і́мже поноси́ша ізміне́нію христа́ Твоєго́.
|
wherewith thine enemies have reviled, O Lord: wherewith they have reviled the recompence of thine anointed.
|
|
53
|
53
|
|
Благослове́н Госпо́дь во вік! Бу́ди, бу́ди.
|
Blessed be the Lord for ever. So be it, so be it.
