| For behold the sinners have bent their bow, they have prepared their arrows for the quiver, to shoot privily at the upright in heart. | Бо ось грішники напружили лук, наготували стріли, щоб стріляти в темряві у непорочних серцем. |

| For they have pulled down what thou didst frame, but what has the righteous done? | Бо те, що Ти довершив, вони зруйнували. Що зробить праведний?.. |

| The Lord is in his holy temple, as for the Lord, his throne is in heaven: his eyes look upon the poor, his eyelids try the sons of men. | Господь у храмі святім Своїм. Господь — на небі Престіл Його. Очі Його [на вбогих] споглядають, зір Його випробовує синів людських. |

| The Lord tries the righteous and the ungodly: and he that loves unrighteousness hates his own soul. | Господь випробовує праведного і нечестивого, той же, хто любить неправду, ненавидить душу свою. |

| He shall rain upon sinners snares, fire, and brimstone, and a stormy blast shall be the portion of their cup. | Дощем проллє Він на грішників палаюче вугілля, вогонь і сірку. Палючий вітер — частка чаші скорботи їхньої. |

| For the Lord is righteous, and loves righteousness; his face beholds uprightness. | Бо праведний Господь і любить правду. На праведних дивиться лице Його. |
