Святим, що на землі Його, сотворив Господь усі бажання Свої в них.

Нехай примножуються скорботи в тих, що біжать до ідолів, я ж не принесу їм жертви кривавої і не спом’яну імен їхніх устами моїми.

Господь — частина спадку мого і чаші моєї. В Тобі, Господи, вся спадщина моя.

Межі мої пролягли в кращих місцях, спадок мій приємний для мене.

I foresaw the Lord always before my face; for he is on my right hand, that I should not be moved.

Славитиму Господа, що просвітив мене, бо навіть і вночі повчає мене серце моє.

Therefore my heart rejoiced and my tongue exulted; moreover also my flesh shall rest in hope:

Повсякчас бачу я Господа перед собою, бо Він праворуч мене, і я не захитаюся.

because thou wilt not leave my soul in hell, neither wilt thou suffer thine Holy One to see corruption.
|
Тому радіє серце моє і веселиться язик мій, навіть тіло моє спочиває в надії,

Thou hast made known to me the ways of life; thou wilt fill me with joy with thy countenance: at thy right hand there are delights for ever.
|
що Ти, Господи, не залишиш душі моєї в пеклі і не даси святому Твоєму побачити тління.
