Deliver me from mine enemies, O God; and ransom me from those that rise up against me.
|
Визволи мене від ворогів моїх, Боже мій, від тих, що повстали на мене, захисти мене.

|
Deliver me from the workers of iniquity, and save me from bloody men.
|
Спаси мене від тих, що чинять беззаконня, і від кровожерних врятуй мене.
|

|
For, behold, they have hunted after my soul; violent men have set upon me: neither is it my iniquity, nor my sin, O Lord.
|
Бо ось вони підстерігають душу мою, збираються на мене сильні, не за беззаконня мої і не за гріх мій.
|

|
|
Without iniquity I ran and directed my course aright: awake to help me, and behold.
|
Господи! Без провини моєї вони йдуть на мене. Встань же на допомогу мені і поглянь.
|

|
|
And thou, Lord God of hosts, the God of Israel, draw nigh to visit all the heathen; pity not any that work iniquity. Pause.
|
Господи, Боже Сил, Боже Ізраїлів, встань, відвідай усі народи, не помилуй нікого з тих, що чинять беззаконня.
|

|
They shall return at evening, and hunger like a dog, and go round about the city.
|
Щовечора сходяться вони, жадібні до крови, як пес, і обходять місто.
|

|
|
Behold, they shall utter a voice with their mouth, and a sword is in their lips; for who, say they, has heard?
|
Ось вони лихословлять язиками своїми, в устах їхніх не слова, а мечі, бо думають: хто їх чує?
|

|
|
But thou, Lord, wilt laugh them to scorn; thou wilt utterly set at nought all the heathen.
|
Але Ти, Господи, посмієшся з них, осоромиш усі народи.
|

|
|
I will keep my strength, looking to thee; for thou, O God, art my helper.
|
Сила моя в Тобі, Боже! Ти Заступник мій.
|

|
As for my God, his mercy shall go before me: my God will shew me vengeance on mine enemies.
|
Ти — Бог мій, і милість Твоя попередить мене. Бог дасть мені перемогу над ворогами моїми.
|

|
|
Slay them not, lest they forget thy law; scatter them by thy power; and bring them down, O Lord, my defender.
|
Не убивай їх, щоб люди не забули Закону Твого. Розвій їх силою Твоєю, Захиснику мій, Господи.
|

|
|
For the sin of their mouth, and the word of their lips, let them be even taken in their pride.
|
Слова уст їхніх — то гріх душі їхньої; хай будуть спіймані у гордині їхній за прокльони їхні та за неправду, яку вони говорять.
|

|
|
And for their cursing and falsehood shall utter destruction be denounced: they shall fall by the wrath of utter destruction, and shall not be; so shall they know that the God of Jacob is Lord of the ends of the earth. Pause.
|
Розвій їх гнівом Твоїм так, щоб не стало їх, та щоб пізнали люди, що Бог володіє народами в усіх кінцях землі.

|
They shall return at evening, and be hungry as a dog, and go round about the city.
|
Вони сходяться вечорами, спраглі крови, як пси, і обходять місто.
|

|
They shall be scattered hither and thither for meat; and if they be not satisfied, they shall even murmur.
|
Вони шукають поживи, але неситі лягають спати.
|
|

|
|
But I will sing to thy strength, and in the morning will I exult in thy mercy; for thou hast been my supporter, and my refuge in the day of mine affliction.
|
А я буду оспівувати силу Твою, щоранку прославлятиму милість Твою, бо Ти був оборонцем моїм і захисником моїм у час біди моєї.

Thou art my helper; to thee, my God, will I sing; thou art my supporter, O my God, and my mercy.
|
Сило моя! Тобі я буду співати, бо Ти Заступник мій і Бог мій, Який милує мене.
