| Let my judgment come forth from thy presence; let mine eyes behold righteousness. | Від Тебе Самого нехай вийде суд мій, очі Твої нехай побачать правоту. |

| Thou hast proved mine heart; thou hast visited me by night; thou hast tried me as with fire, and unrighteousness has not been found in me: I am purposed that my mouth shall not speak amiss. | Ти випробував серце моє, відвідав мене вночі. Ти випробував мене і не знайшов у мені неправди; думки мої не розходяться з устами моїми. |

| As for the works of men, by the words of thy lips I have guarded myself from hard ways. | В ділах людських, за словами уст Твоїх, я охороняв себе від дороги гнобителя. |

| Direct my steps in thy paths, that my steps slip not. | Утверди стопи мої на путях Твоїх, щоб не хиталися ноги мої. |

| I have cried, for thou heardest me, O God: incline thine ear to me, and hearken to my words. | Тебе благаю, бо Ти вислухаєш мене, Боже. Нахили вухо Твоє до мене і вислухай слова мої. |

| Shew the marvels of thy mercies, thou that savest them that hope in thee. | Покажи дивну милість Твою, бо Ти спасаєш тих, що уповають [на Тебе], від противників правиці Твоєї. |

| Keep me as the apple of the eye from those that resist thy right hand: thou shalt screen me by the covering of thy wings, | Охорони мене, Господи, як зіницю ока, під покровом крил Твоїх, |

| from the face of the ungodly that have afflicted me: mine enemies have compassed about my soul. | укрий мене від лиця нечестивих, що нападають на мене, від ворогів душі моєї, що оточили мене. |

| They have enclosed themselves with their own fat: their mouth has spoken pride. | Ожиріло серце їхнє, устами їхніми промовляє гординя. |

| They have now cast me out and compassed me round about: they have set their eyes so as to bow them down to the ground. | Ті, що переслідують мене, нині оточили мене; очі свої спрямували на мене, щоб розтоптати мене на землі. |

| They laid wait for me as a lion ready for prey, and like a lion's whelp dwelling in secret places. | Вони, як той лев, що здобичі шукає, як звір, що причаївся. |

| Arise, O Lord, prevent them, and cast them down: deliver my soul from the ungodly: draw thy sword, | Воскресни, Господи, випереди їх, подолай їх; визволи душу мою від нечестивого мечем Твоїм; |

| because of the enemies of thine hand: O Lord, destroy them from the earth; scatter them in their life, though their belly has been filled with thy hidden treasures: they have been satisfied with uncleanness, and have left the remnant of their possessions to their babes. | від ворогів — рукою Твоєю, Господи, від людей світу цього, доля яких — у цьому житті; черево своє вони наповнюють від скарбів Твоїх; сини їхні ситі і залишають спадщину дітям своїм. |

| But I shall appear in righteousness before thy face: I shall be satisfied when thy glory appears. | А я в правді дивитимусь на лице Твоє. Щоранку буду насичуватися славою Твоєю. |
