| O Lord my God, in thee have I trusted: save me from all them that persecute me, and deliver me. | Господи, Боже мій! Я на Тебе надіюся, спаси мене і від усіх гонителів моїх визволи мене. |

| Lest at any time the enemy seize my soul as a lion, while there is none to ransom, nor to save. | Щоб ворог не схопив, як лев, душу мою, коли нема визволителя [і спасителя]. |

| O Lord my God, if I have done this; (if there is unrighteousness in my hands;) | Господи, Боже мій! Якщо я вчинив щось недобре, якщо є неправда в руках моїх, |

| if I have requited with evil those who requited me with good; may I then perish empty by means of my enemies. | якщо я відплатив злом приятелям моїм або чинив зло тому, хто без причини ворогував проти мене, |

| Let the enemy persecute my soul, and take it; and let him trample my life on the ground, and lay my glory in the dust. Pause. | то нехай ворог переслідує душу мою, нехай настигне її, втопче в землю життя моє і славу мою кине в порох. |

| Arise, O Lord, in thy wrath; be exalted in the utmost boundaries of mine enemies: awake, O Lord my God, according to the decree which thou didst command. | Встань, Господи, у гніві Твоїм, піднесися проти лютування ворогів моїх. Устань, Господи, Боже мій, на суд, що заповідав Ти. |

| And the congregation of the nations shall compass thee: and for this cause do thou return on high. | І сонм народів оточить Тебе, над ним високо піднесись. |

| The Lord shall judge the nations: judge me, O Lord, according to my righteousness, and according to my innocence that is in me. | Господь судить народи. Суди мене, Господи, за правдою моєю і за невинністю моєю. |
|

| Oh let the wickedness of sinners come to an end; and then thou shalt direct the righteous, O God that searchest the hearts and reins. | Нехай припиниться злоба грішних, а праведника підкріпи, бо Ти, Боже праведний, знаєш серця й думки. |

| My help is righteous, coming from God who saves the upright in heart. | Поміч моя від Бога, Який спасає праведних серцем. |

| God is a righteous judge, and strong, and patient, not inflicting vengeance every day. | Бог — Суддя праведний, [непохитний, довготерпеливий] і не посилає гніву щодня. |

| If ye will not repent, he will furbish his sword; he has bent his bow, and made it ready. | Коли ж хто не кається, Він гострить меч Свій, готує зброю Свою і направляє на нього. |

| And on it he has fitted the instruments of death; he has completed his arrows for the raging ones. | Готує для нього лук; стріли Свої робить палючими. |
|

|
| Behold, he has travailed with unrighteousness, he has conceived trouble, and brought forth iniquity. | Ось нечестивий захворів на неправду, зачав злобу і породив беззаконня. |

|
| He has opened a pit, and dug it up, and he shall fall into the ditch which he has made. | Копав яму, і викопав її, і впав у ту яму, яку сам приготував. |

|
| His trouble shall return on his own head, and his unrighteousness shall come down on his own crown. | І повернеться злоба його на голову його, і неправда його на тім’я його впаде. |
|

|
| I will give thanks to the Lord according to his righteousness; I will sing to the name of the Lord most high. | Прославлятиму Господа за правду Його і величатиму ім’я Господа Всевишнього. |
