| O God, who shall be compared to thee? be not silent, neither be still, O God. | Боже, хто подібний до Тебе? Не мовчи і не будь спокійним, Боже. |

| For behold, thine enemies have made a noise; and they that hate thee have lifted up the head. | Бо ось вороги Твої зашуміли і ті, що ненавидять Тебе, підняли голови. |

| Against thy people they have craftily imagined a device, and have taken counsel against thy saints. | Вони підступно змовляються проти народу Твого і радяться проти святих Твоїх. |

| They have said, Come, and let us utterly destroy them out of the nation; and let the name of Israel be remembered no more at all. | Сказали: «Підемо й винищимо їх з-поміж народів, щоб ніхто не згадував більше імені Ізраїля». |

| For they have taken counsel together with one consent: they have made a confederacy against thee; | Змовилися і однодушно уклали союз проти Тебе. |

| even the tents of the Idumeans, and the Ismaelites; Moab, and the Agarenes; | Сини Едома, ізмаїліти, Моав і агаряни, |

|
| Gebal, and Ammon, and Amalec; the Philistines also, with them that dwell at Tyre. | Гевал і Аммон, Амалик і филистимляни з людьми тирськими. |

| Yea, Assur too is come with them: they have become a help to the children of Lot. Pause. | І Ассур пішов з ними; вони стали на поміч синам Лотовим. |

| Do thou to them as to Madiam, and to Sisera; as to Jabin at the brook of Kison. | Зроби з ними так, як з Мадіамом, Сисарою та Іавимом біля потоку Кисана, |

| O my God, make them as a wheel; as stubble before the face of the wind. | Боже мій! Нехай стануть вони як порох у вихорі, як солома перед вітром, |

| As fire which shall burn up a wood, as the flame may consume the mountains; | як вогонь спалює ліси, як полум’я, що обпалює гори, |

| so shalt thou persecute them with thy tempest, and trouble them in thine anger. | так пожени їх бурею Твоєю і гнівом Твоїм приведи їх у замішання. |

| Fill their faces with dishonour; so shall they seek thy name, O Lord. | Покрий їх безчестям, щоб вони шукали імені Твого, Господи. |

| Let them be ashamed and troubled for evermore; yea, let them be confounded and destroyed. | Нехай будуть осоромлені й застрашені навіки, і з соромом своїм загинуть. |

| And let them know that thy name is Lord; that thou alone art Most High over all the earth. | І нехай узнають, що ім’я Тобі — Господь і що Ти єдиний Всевишній на всій землі. |
