Господня земля і все, що наповнює її, вселенна і всі, що живуть у ній.

Who shall go up to the mountain of the Lord, and who shall stand in his holy place?

Він на морях заснував її і на ріках утвердив її.

He that is innocent in his hands and pure in his heart; who has not lifted up his soul to vanity, nor sworn deceitfully to his neighbour.

Хто зійде на гору Господню, і хто стане на місці святому Його?

He shall receive a blessing from the Lord, and mercy from God his Saviour.

Той, у кого невинні руки і чисте серце, хто не марнував на суєту душу свою і не присягався [ближньому своєму] зрадливо,

This is the generation of them that seek him, that seek the face of the God of Jacob. Pause.

Lift up your gates, ye princes, and be ye lifted up, ye everlasting doors; and the king of glory shall come in.

Це рід тих, що шукають Господа, шукають лиця Твого, Боже Яковів.

Who is this king of glory? the Lord strong and mighty, the Lord mighty in battle.
|
Піднімайте, врата, верхи ваші, піднімайтеся, врата вічні, — і ввійде Цар слави!

Lift up your gates, ye princes; and be ye lift up, ye everlasting doors; and the king of glory shall come in.
|
Хто є цей Цар слави? Господь кріпкий і сильний, Господь могутній в бою.

Who is this king of glory? The Lord of hosts, he is this king of glory.
|
Піднімайте, врата, верхи ваші, піднімайтеся, врата вічні, — і ввійде Цар слави!
