| Have mercy upon me, O God, according to thy great mercy; and according to the multitude of thy compassions blot out my transgression. | Помилуй мене, Боже, з великої милости Твоєї, і з великого милосердя Твого прости провини мої. |

| Wash me thoroughly from mine iniquity, and cleanse me from my sin. | Особливо омий мене від беззаконня мого і від гріха мого очисти мене. |

| For I am conscious of mine iniquity; and my sin is continually before me. | Бо беззаконня моє я знаю, і гріх мій повсякчас переді мною. |

| Against thee only have I sinned, and done evil before thee: that thou mightest be justified in thy sayings, and mightest overcome when thou art judged. | Проти Тебе єдиного я згрішив і лукаве перед Тобою вчинив, отже, праведний Ти у слові Твоїм і справедливий у присуді Твоїм. |

| For, behold, I was conceived in iniquities, and in sins did my mother conceive me. | Ось бо в беззаконні зачатий я, і в гріхах породила мене мати моя. |

| For, behold, thou lovest truth: thou hast manifested to me the secret and hidden things of thy wisdom. | Бо Ти істину полюбив єси, невідоме й таємне мудрости [Твоєї] явив Ти мені. |

| Thou shalt sprinkle me with hyssop, and I shall be purified: thou shalt wash me, and I shall be made whiter than snow. | Окропи мене ісопом — і очищуся, омий мене — і стану біліший від снігу. |

| Thou shalt cause me to hear gladness and joy: the afflicted bones shall rejoice. | Дай мені почути радість і веселість — і зрадіють кості мої упокорені. |

| Turn away thy face from my sins, and blot out all mine iniquities. | Відверни лице Твоє від гріхів моїх і прости всі беззаконня мої. |

| Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit in my inward parts. | Серце чисте створи в мені, Боже, і духа праведного віднови в нутрі моєму. |

| Cast me not away from thy presence; and remove not thy Holy Spirit from me. | Не відкинь мене від лиця Твого і Духа Твого Святого не відніми від мене. |

| Restore to me the joy of thy salvation: establish me with thy directing Spirit. | Поверни мені радість спасіння Твого і духом могутнім укріпи мене. |

| Then will I teach transgressors thy ways; and ungodly men shall turn to thee. | Навчатиму беззаконників шляхів Твоїх, і нечестиві навернуться до Тебе. |

| Deliver me from blood-guiltiness, O God, the God of my salvation: and my tongue shall joyfully declare thy righteousness. | Визволи мене від вини кривавої, Боже, Боже спасіння мого, і язик мій радісно славитиме правду Твою. |

| O Lord, thou shalt open my lips; and my mouth shall declare thy praise. | Господи, відкрий уста мої, і уста мої сповістять хвалу Твою. |

| For if thou desiredst sacrifice, I would have given it: thou wilt not take pleasure in whole-burnt-offerings. | Бо коли б Ти жертви забажав, приніс би я: всепалення Ти не бажаєш. |

| Sacrifice to God is a broken spirit: a broken and humbled heart God will not despise. | Жертва Богові — це дух упокорений, серцем скорботним і смиренним Ти не погордуєш. |

| Do good, O Lord, to Sion in thy good pleasure; and let the walls of Jerusalem be built. | Ублажи, [Господи], благоволінням Твоїм Сион, і нехай збудуються стіни єрусалимські. |

| Then shalt thou be pleased with a sacrifice of righteousness, offering, and whole-burnt-sacrifices: then shall they offer calves upon thine altar. | Тоді буде угодна Тобі жертва правди, приношення і всепалення: тоді покладуть на Жертовник Твій тельців. |
