Sing to him, yea, sing praises to him: tell forth all his wonderful works.

Прославляйте Господа і призивайте ім’я Його. Сповіщайте між народами про діла Його.

Glory in his holy name: let the heart of them that seek the Lord rejoice.
|
Співайте Йому і славте Його, розповідайте про всі чудеса Його.

Seek ye the Lord, and be strengthened; seek his face continually.
|
Хваліться іменем святим Його. Нехай радіє серце тих, що шукають Господа.
|

|
|
Remember his wonderful works that he has done; his wonders, and the judgments of his mouth;
|
Шукайте Господа й сили Його, шукайте лиця Його завжди.
|

|
|
ye seed of Abraam, his servants, ye children of Jacob, his chosen ones.
|
Згадуйте чуда Його, що він створив, знамення Його й суди уст Його.
|

|
|
He is the Lord our God; his judgments are in all the earth.
|
Ви, насіння Авраамове, раби Його, сини Якова — обрані Його.
|

|
|
He has remembered his covenant for ever, the word which he commanded for a thousand generations:
|
Він є Господь Бог наш: по всій землі суди Його.
|

|
|
which he established as a covenant to Abraam, and he remembered his oath to Isaac.
|
Він навіки пам’ятає завіт Свій, слово, [яке] заповідав у тисячі родів,
|
|

|

|
|
And he established it to Jacob for an ordinance, and to Israel for an everlasting covenant;
|
яке заповідав Авраамові, і клятву Свою Ісаакові.
|

|
|
saying, To thee will I give the land of Chanaan, the line of your inheritance:
|
І поставив його законом для Якова та Ізраїля в завіт вічний,
|
|

|

|
|
when they were few in number, very few, and sojourners in it.
|
кажучи: «Дам тобі землю Ханаанську в поділ насліддя вашого».
|
|

|
|
And they went from nation to nation, and from one kingdom to another people.
|
Коли їх було ще мало за кількістю, дуже мало, і були вони чужинцями в ній,
|
|

|

|
|
He suffered no man to wrong them; and he rebuked kings for their sakes:
|
і переходили вони від народу до народу, з царства до племені іншого,
|
|

|

|
|
saying, Touch not my anointed ones; and do my prophets no harm.
|
Він не дозволив нікому кривдити їх і забороняв про них царям:
|

|
|
Moreover he called for a famine upon the land; he broke the whole support of bread.
|
«Не доторкайтеся до помазаних Моїх і не чиніть зла пророкам Моїм».

|
|
He sent a man before them; Joseph was sold for a slave.
|
І прикликав голод на землю, і знищив усяке хлібне стебло.
|
|

|
|
They hurt his feet with fetters; his soul passed into iron,
|
Послав перед ними чоловіка; в рабство був проданий Йосиф.
|
|

|

|
|
until the time that his cause came on; the word of the Lord tried him as fire.
|
Скували кайданами ноги йому, в залізних путах була душа його,
|
|
20
|

|
|
The king sent and loosed him; even the prince of the people, and let him go free.
|
аж поки сповнилося слово Його, слово Господнє випробувало його.
|
|
21
|

|
|
He made him lord over his house, and ruler of all his substance;
|
Послав цар і звільнив його, володар народу випустив його.
|
|

|

|
|
to chastise his rulers at his pleasure, and to teach his elders wisdom.
|
І поставив його господарем над усім домом своїм і правителем над усім володінням своїм.
|
|

|

|
|
Israel also came into Egypt, and Jacob sojourned in the land of Cham.
|
Щоб він настановляв вельмож його за душею своєю і старійшин його навчав мудрости.
|
|

|

|
|
And he increased his people greatly, and made them stronger than their enemies.
|
Тоді прийшов Ізраїль до Єгипту, і переселився Яків у землю Хамову.
|
|

|
|
And he turned their heart to hate his people, to deal craftily with his servants.
|
І дуже розмножив Бог людей Своїх, і зробив їх сильнішими від ворогів їхніх.

|
|
He sent forth Moses his servant, and Aaron whom he had chosen.
|
Попустив серце єгиптян зненавидіти народ Його, чинити напасті рабам Його.
|
|

|
|
He established among them his signs, and his wonders in the land of Cham.
|
Тоді послав Мойсея, раба Свого, і Аарона, якого вибрав.
|
|

|

|
|
He sent forth darkness, and made it dark; yet they rebelled against his words.
|
Вони показали між ними слова знамень Його і чудеса [Його] в землі Хамовій.
|
|

|

|
|
He turned their waters into blood, and slew their fish.
|
Наслав темряву і зробив морок, і не могли суперечити слову Його.
|
|

|

|
|
Their land produced frogs abundantly, in the chambers of their kings.
|
Перемінив воду їх на кров і поморив усю рибу їх.
|
|

|

|
|
He spoke, and the dog-fly came, and lice in all their coasts.
|
Закишіла земля їх жабами, навіть у покоях царів їхніх.
|
|

|

|
|
He turned their rain into hail, and sent flaming fire in their land.
|
Сказав Він, і роями з’явились оводи й комарі у всій країні їх.
|
|

|

|
|
And he smote their vines and their fig-trees; and broke every tree of their coast.
|
Послав на них град замість дощу, і вогонь палючий на землю їх.
|
|

|

|
|
He spoke, and the locust came, and caterpillars innumerable,
|
Побив виноград і смоковниці їх, і дерева поламав у країні їх.
|
|

|

|
|
and devoured all the grass in their land, and devoured the fruit of their ground.
|
Сказав, і прийшли сарана та гусінь — без ліку.
|
|

|

|
|
He smote also every first-born of their land, the first-fruits of all their labour.
|
І пожерли всю траву на землі їх, поїли увесь урожай на полях їх.
|
|

|

|
|
And he brought them out with silver and gold; and there was not a feeble one among their tribes.
|
І умертвив всякого первістка в землі їх, початки всієї сили їх.
|
|

|

|
|
Egypt rejoiced at their departing; for the fear of them fell upon them.
|
І вивів ізраїльтян із сріблом і золотом, і не було хворого в колінах (поколіннях) їх.
|
|

|

|
|
He spread out a cloud for a covering to them, and fire to give them light by night.
|
Зрадів Єгипет, коли вийшли вони, бо обійняв його страх перед ними.
|
|
40
|

|
|
They asked, and the quail came, and he satisfied them with the bread of heaven.
|
Господь розпростер над ними хмару, як покров [їм], і вогняний стовп, — щоб світив [їм] уночі.
|
|
41
|
40
|
|
He clave the rock, and the waters flowed; rivers ran in dry places.
|
Просили вони, і Він послав їм перепелиць і хлібом небесним насичував їх.
|
|

|

|
|
For he remembered his holy word, which he promised to Abraam his servant.
|
Розколов скелю, і потекла вода, зашуміла рікою по землі сухій.
|
|
43
|

|
|
And he brought out his people with exultation, and his chosen with joy;
|
Бо згадав Він слово Своє до Авраама, раба Свого,
|
|
44
|
43
|
|
and gave them the lands of the heathen; and they inherited the labours of the people;
|
і вивів народ Свій з радощами, обраних Своїх — з веселощами.
|
|
45
|
44
|
|
that they might keep his ordinances, and diligently seek his law.
|
І дав їм землю народів, і успадкували вони працю чужих народів.
|
