Blessed is the man who thinks on the poor and needy: the Lord shall deliver him in an evil day.
|
Блаженний, хто дбає про [вбогих і] бідних, в день скорботи спасає його Господь.
|
|

|
|
May the Lord preserve him and keep him alive, and bless him on the earth, and not deliver him into the hands of his enemy.
|
Господь збереже його й охоронить життя його. Блаженним він буде на землі, і Ти, Господи, не віддаси його в руки ворогів його.
|
|

|
|
May the Lord help him upon the bed of his pain; thou hast made all his bed in his sickness.
|
Господь допоможе йому в час хвороби його, все ложе його Ти оздоровиш у болісті його.
|
|

|
I said, O Lord, have mercy upon me; heal my soul; for I have sinned against thee.
|
Я сказав: «Господи, помилуй мене і зціли душу мою, бо згрішив я перед Тобою».
|

|
Mine enemies have spoken evil against me, saying, When shall he die, and his name perish?
|
Вороги мої в злобі кажуть про мене: «Коли він помре та згине ім’я його?»
|

|
And if he came to see me, his heart spoke vainly; he gathered iniquity to himself; he went forth and spoke in like manner.
|
А коли приходять провідати мене, говорять облесливо, ховають злобу в серці, а вийшовши, змовляються.
|

|
|
All my enemies whispered against me; against me they devised my hurt.
|
Ненависники шепочуть між собою, замишляють зло проти мене.
|

|
They denounced a wicked word against me, saying, Now that he lies, shall he not rise up again?
|
Словом лихим ображають мене, говорячи: «Він ліг і вже не встане».
|
|

|
|
For even the man of my peace, in whom I trusted, who ate my bread, lifted up his heel against me.
|
Навіть чоловік, що жив у згоді зі мною, що їв хліб мій і на якого я надіявся, — підняв проти мене п’яту свою.
|

|
But thou, O Lord, have compassion upon me, and raise me up, and I shall requite them.
|
Ти ж, Господи, помилуй мене, підійми мене, щоб я віддав їм.
|
|

|
|
By this I know that thou hast delighted in me, because mine enemy shall not rejoice over me.
|
З того дізнаюсь я, що Ти любиш мене, коли ворог мій не потішиться наді мною.
|
|

|
|
But thou didst help me because of mine innocence, and hast established me before thee for ever.
|
А мене Ти охорониш заради лагідности моєї, і поставиш перед лицем Твоїм навіки.
|

|
Blessed be the Lord God of Israel from everlasting, and to everlasting. So be it, so be it.
|
Благословенний Господь, Бог Ізраїля од віку й до віку! Амінь, амінь!
