| Прославляйте Господа і призивайте ім’я Його. Сповіщайте між народами про діла Його. | Alleluia. Give thanks to the Lord, and call upon his name; declare his works among the heathen. |

| Співайте Йому і славте Його, розповідайте про всі чудеса Його. | Sing to him, yea, sing praises to him: tell forth all his wonderful works. |

|
| Хваліться іменем святим Його. Нехай радіє серце тих, що шукають Господа. | Glory in his holy name: let the heart of them that seek the Lord rejoice. |

|
| Шукайте Господа й сили Його, шукайте лиця Його завжди. | Seek ye the Lord, and be strengthened; seek his face continually. |

|
| Згадуйте чуда Його, що він створив, знамення Його й суди уст Його. | Remember his wonderful works that he has done; his wonders, and the judgments of his mouth; |

|
| Ви, насіння Авраамове, раби Його, сини Якова — обрані Його. | ye seed of Abraam, his servants, ye children of Jacob, his chosen ones. |

|
| Він є Господь Бог наш: по всій землі суди Його. | He is the Lord our God; his judgments are in all the earth. |
|

|
| Він навіки пам’ятає завіт Свій, слово, [яке] заповідав у тисячі родів, | He has remembered his covenant for ever, the word which he commanded for a thousand generations: |

|
| яке заповідав Авраамові, і клятву Свою Ісаакові. | which he established as a covenant to Abraam, and he remembered his oath to Isaac. |

|

|
| І поставив його законом для Якова та Ізраїля в завіт вічний, | And he established it to Jacob for an ordinance, and to Israel for an everlasting covenant; |
|

|

|
| кажучи: «Дам тобі землю Ханаанську в поділ насліддя вашого». | saying, To thee will I give the land of Chanaan, the line of your inheritance: |

|
| Коли їх було ще мало за кількістю, дуже мало, і були вони чужинцями в ній, | when they were few in number, very few, and sojourners in it. |
|

|
13
|
| і переходили вони від народу до народу, з царства до племені іншого, | And they went from nation to nation, and from one kingdom to another people. |
|

|

|
| Він не дозволив нікому кривдити їх і забороняв про них царям: | He suffered no man to wrong them; and he rebuked kings for their sakes: |
|
15
|
15
|
| «Не доторкайтеся до помазаних Моїх і не чиніть зла пророкам Моїм». | saying, Touch not my anointed ones; and do my prophets no harm. |
|

|
16
|
| І прикликав голод на землю, і знищив усяке хлібне стебло. | Moreover he called for a famine upon the land; he broke the whole support of bread. |
|

|
| Послав перед ними чоловіка; в рабство був проданий Йосиф. | He sent a man before them; Joseph was sold for a slave. |
|

|

|
| Скували кайданами ноги йому, в залізних путах була душа його, | They hurt his feet with fetters; his soul passed into iron, |
|

|
19
|
| аж поки сповнилося слово Його, слово Господнє випробувало його. | until the time that his cause came on; the word of the Lord tried him as fire. |
|

|

|
| Послав цар і звільнив його, володар народу випустив його. | The king sent and loosed him; even the prince of the people, and let him go free. |
|

|

|
| І поставив його господарем над усім домом своїм і правителем над усім володінням своїм. | He made him lord over his house, and ruler of all his substance; |
|

|
22
|
| Щоб він настановляв вельмож його за душею своєю і старійшин його навчав мудрости. | to chastise his rulers at his pleasure, and to teach his elders wisdom. |

|
| Тоді прийшов Ізраїль до Єгипту, і переселився Яків у землю Хамову. | Israel also came into Egypt, and Jacob sojourned in the land of Cham. |
|

|
24
|
| І дуже розмножив Бог людей Своїх, і зробив їх сильнішими від ворогів їхніх. | And he increased his people greatly, and made them stronger than their enemies. |
|
25
|
25
|
| Попустив серце єгиптян зненавидіти народ Його, чинити напасті рабам Його. | And he turned their heart to hate his people, to deal craftily with his servants. |
|

|
| Тоді послав Мойсея, раба Свого, і Аарона, якого вибрав. | He sent forth Moses his servant, and Aaron whom he had chosen. |
|

|
27
|
| Вони показали між ними слова знамень Його і чудеса [Його] в землі Хамовій. | He established among them his signs, and his wonders in the land of Cham. |
|
28
|
28
|
| Наслав темряву і зробив морок, і не могли суперечити слову Його. | He sent forth darkness, and made it dark; yet they rebelled against his words. |
|

|

|
| Перемінив воду їх на кров і поморив усю рибу їх. | He turned their waters into blood, and slew their fish. |
|
30
|
30
|
| Закишіла земля їх жабами, навіть у покоях царів їхніх. | Their land produced frogs abundantly, in the chambers of their kings. |
|

|
31
|
| Сказав Він, і роями з’явились оводи й комарі у всій країні їх. | He spoke, and the dog-fly came, and lice in all their coasts. |
|
32
|
32
|
| Послав на них град замість дощу, і вогонь палючий на землю їх. | He turned their rain into hail, and sent flaming fire in their land. |
|
33
|
33
|
| Побив виноград і смоковниці їх, і дерева поламав у країні їх. | And he smote their vines and their fig-trees; and broke every tree of their coast. |
|

|
34
|
| Сказав, і прийшли сарана та гусінь — без ліку. | He spoke, and the locust came, and caterpillars innumerable, |
|
35
|
35
|
| І пожерли всю траву на землі їх, поїли увесь урожай на полях їх. | and devoured all the grass in their land, and devoured the fruit of their ground. |
|
36
|
36
|
| І умертвив всякого первістка в землі їх, початки всієї сили їх. | He smote also every first-born of their land, the first-fruits of all their labour. |
|
37
|
37
|
| І вивів ізраїльтян із сріблом і золотом, і не було хворого в колінах (поколіннях) їх. | And he brought them out with silver and gold; and there was not a feeble one among their tribes. |
|

|
38
|
| Зрадів Єгипет, коли вийшли вони, бо обійняв його страх перед ними. | Egypt rejoiced at their departing; for the fear of them fell upon them. |

|
39
|
| Господь розпростер над ними хмару, як покров [їм], і вогняний стовп, — щоб світив [їм] уночі. | He spread out a cloud for a covering to them, and fire to give them light by night. |
|
40
|
40
|
| Просили вони, і Він послав їм перепелиць і хлібом небесним насичував їх. | They asked, and the quail came, and he satisfied them with the bread of heaven. |
|
41
|
41
|
| Розколов скелю, і потекла вода, зашуміла рікою по землі сухій. | He clave the rock, and the waters flowed; rivers ran in dry places. |
|
42
|
42
|
| Бо згадав Він слово Своє до Авраама, раба Свого, | For he remembered his holy word, which he promised to Abraam his servant. |

43
|
| і вивів народ Свій з радощами, обраних Своїх — з веселощами. | And he brought out his people with exultation, and his chosen with joy; |
|
44
|
44
|
| І дав їм землю народів, і успадкували вони працю чужих народів. | and gave them the lands of the heathen; and they inherited the labours of the people; |
|
45
|
45
|
| Щоб заповіді Його виконували й дотримувалися закону Його. Алилуя! | that they might keep his ordinances, and diligently seek his law. |
