| Від сходу сонця й до заходу нехай буде прославлене ім’я Господнє. | From the rising of the sun to his setting, the name of the Lord is to be praised. |

| Високо над усіма народами Господь, вище небес слава Його. | The Lord is high above all the nations; his glory is above the heavens. |

| Хто — як Господь Бог наш?! Він перебуває на небесах. | Who is as the Lord our God? who dwells in the high places, |

| Він нахиляється, щоб доглядати небо й землю; | and yet looks upon the low things in heaven, and on the earth: |

| з пороху піднімає бідного і з гноїща підносить убогого, | who lifts up the poor from the earth, and raises up the needy from the dunghill; |

|
| щоб посадити його з князями народу Свого; | to set him with princes, even with the princes of his people: |

|
| неплідну робить матір’ю, яка в домі своїм втішається дітьми. Алилуя! | who settles the barren woman in a house, as a mother rejoicing over children. |
