| На Тебе, Господи, я уповаю, не дай мені осоромитися повік. | By David, a Psalm sung by the sons of Jonadab, and the first that were taken captive. O Lord, I have hoped in thee: let me never be put to shame. |

| Правдою Твоєю врятуй мене і визволи мене, прихили до мене вухо Твоє і спаси мене. | In thy righteousness deliver me and rescue me: incline thine ear to me, and save me. |

|
| Будь мені Богом Захисником, твердинею пристановища, щоб спасти мене. | Be to me a protecting God, and a strong hold to save me: for thou art my fortress and my refuge. |
|

|
| Боже мій, визволи мене з руки нечестивого, з руки беззаконника, що гнобить мене. | Deliver me, O my God, from the hand of the sinner, from the hand of the transgressor and unjust man. |
|

|
| Бо Ти надія моя, Господи Боже мій, надія моя від юности моєї. | For thou art my support, O Lord; O Lord, thou art my hope from my youth. |
|

|
| В Тобі утвердився я від утроби матері моєї, від народження мого Ти мій покровитель, і Тобі хвала моя завжди. | On thee have I been stayed from the womb: from the belly of my mother thou art my protector: of thee is my praise continually. |

| Для багатьох я був наче диво, але Ти тверда моя надія. | I am become as it were a wonder to many; but thou art my strong helper. |
|

|
| Нехай наповняться уста мої хвалою Тобі, [щоб я оспівував славу Твою і] кожен день — велич Твою. | Let my mouth be filled with praise, that I may hymn thy glory, and thy majesty all the day. |
|

|
| Не покинь мене в час старості, коли буде покидати мене сила моя. Не залиш мене. | Cast me not off at the time of old age; forsake me not when my strength fails. |
|

|
| Бо вороги мої говорять проти мене, і ті, що підстерігають душу мою, радяться між собою, | For mine enemies have spoken against me; and they that lay wait for my soul have taken counsel together, |
|

| кажучи: «Бог покинув його, переслідуйте і схопіть його, бо нема визволителя». | saying, God has forsaken him: persecute ye and take him; for there is none to deliver him. |
|

| Боже, не віддаляйся від мене. Боже, на поміч мені прийди. | O God, go not far from me, O my God, draw nigh to my help. |
|

|
| Нехай осоромляться, нехай щезнуть усі, що повстали на душу мою. Нехай покриють сором і безчестя тих, що шукають загибелі моєї. | Let those that plot against my soul be ashamed and utterly fail: let those that seek my hurt be clothed with shame and dishonour. |
|

| А я завжди буду уповати [на Тебе] і примножувати всяку похвалу Тобі. | But I will hope continually, and will praise thee more and more. |
|

|
| Уста мої будуть звіщати правду Твою, кожен день — благодіяння Твої, що їм я не знаю числа. | My mouth shall declare thy righteousness openly, and thy salvation all the day; for I am not acquainted with the affairs of men. |
|

| Завжди буду думати про силу Господа Бога, згадувати правду Твою. Тільки Твою, Боже. | I will go on in the might of the Lord: O Lord, I will make mention of thy righteousness only. |

| Ти навчав мене від юности моєї, і донині я сповіщаю про чудеса Твої. | O God, thou hast taught me from my youth, and until now will I declare thy wonders; |
|

|
| І до старості, і до сивини не покинь мене, Боже, доки не розкажу про силу Твою всьому народові і всьому грядущому про могутність Твою. | even until I am old and advanced in years. O God, forsake me not; until I shall have declared thine arm to all the generation that is to come: |

| Правда Твоя, Боже, до небес. Великі діла вчинив Ти; Боже, хто подібний до Тебе? | even thy power and thy righteousness, O God, up to the highest heavens, even the mighty works which thou hast done: O God, who is like to thee? |

| Ти посилав на мене люту біду, але знову оживляв мене і з безодні землі виводив мене. | What afflictions many and sore hast thou shewed me! yet thou didst turn and quicken me, and broughtest me again from the depths of the earth. |

| Ти показав на мені правосуддя Твоє, але, обернувшись, Ти втішав мене [і з безодні землі знову виводив мене], | Thou didst multiply thy righteousness, and didst turn and comfort me, and broughtest me again out of the depths of the earth. |

| тому буду прославляти Тебе знову між народами, на струнних органах славитиму істину Твою, Боже. Буду оспівувати Тебе на гуслях, святий Ізраїлів. | I will also therefore give thanks to thee, O God, because of thy truth, on an instrument of psalmody: I will sing psalms to thee on the harp, O Holy One of Israel. |

| Радіють уста мої, коли співаю Тобі, і душа моя, яку Ти визволив; | My lips shall rejoice when I sing to thee; and my soul, which thou hast redeemed. |

| і язик мій щодня буде прославляти правду Твою, бо осоромлені ті, що шукали загибелі мені. | Moreover also my tongue shall dwell all the day upon thy righteousness; when they shall be ashamed and confounded that seek my hurt. |
