Because he has inclined his ear to me, therefore will I call upon him while I live.

Прихилив до мене вухо Своє; буду призивати Його в усі дні мої.

The pangs of death compassed me; the dangers of hell found me: I found affliction and sorrow.

Обійняли мене болі смертельні, і муки пекельні найшли на мене: я зустрів скорботу й утиски.

Then I called on the name of the Lord: O Lord, deliver my soul.

Тоді я призвав ім’я Господнє: «Господи, спаси душу мою!»

The Lord is merciful and righteous; yea, our God has pity.
|

|
Милостивий і праведний Господь; Бог наш милує нас.

The Lord preserves the simple: I was brought low, and he delivered me.
|

|
Господь охороняє немовлят: я знесилився, і Він допоміг мені.
|
Return to thy rest, O my soul; for the Lord has dealt bountifully with thee.

Повернися, душе моя, у спокій твій, бо Господь облагодіяв тебе.
|
For he has delivered my soul from death, mine eyes from tears, and my feet from falling.
|

|
|
Ти, Господи, спас душу мою від смерти, очі мої — від сліз, ноги мої — від спотикання. Буду ходити перед Господом у країні живих.
|
I shall be well-pleasing before the Lord in the land of the living.
