O sing praises to his name; give glory to his praise.

Промовляйте Богові: «Як величні діла Твої, перед множеством сили Твоєї скоряться Тобі вороги Твої».
|
Say unto God, How awful are thy works! through the greatness of thy power thine enemies shall lie to thee.
|
|

|
Вся земля нехай поклониться Тобі й співає Тобі. Нехай співає імені Твоєму, Всевишній!»
|
Let all the earth worship thee, and sing to thee; let them sing to thy name. Pause.

|
Прийдіть, погляньте на діла Божі, Який страшний Він у Своїх ділах над синами людськими!
|
Come and behold the works of God; he is terrible in his counsels beyond the children of men.
|

|
Він море обернув на сушу, ріку перейшли ногами. Там ми веселилися в Ньому.
|
Who turns the sea into dry land; they shall go through the river on foot; there shall we rejoice in him,
|

|
Він могутністю Своєю світом володіє вічно. Очі Його дивляться на всі народи, щоб не підносились у собі гнобителі.
|
who by his power is Lord over the age, his eyes look upon the nations; let not them that provoke him be exalted in themselves. Pause.
|

|
|
Благословляйте, народи, Бога нашого і проголошуйте хвалу Йому.
|
Bless our God, ye Gentiles, and make the voice of his praise to be heard;
|

|
Він дав життя душі нашій і не попустив, щоб ноги наші захиталися.
|
who quickens my soul in life, and does not suffer my feet to be moved.
|
|

|
|
Ти випробував нас, Боже, Ти переплавив нас, як переплавляється срібло.
|
For thou, O God, hast proved us; thou hast tried us with fire as silver is tried.
|
|

|
|
Ти попустив нам потрапити в сітку, поклав тягарі на плечі наші.
|
Thou broughtest us into the snare; thou laidest afflictions on our back.
|
|

|
|
Ти допустив, щоб чужі люди сіли на шию нам. Ми йшли через вогонь і воду, але Ти вивів нас на волю.
|
Thou didst mount men upon our heads; we went through fire and water; but thou broughtest us out into a place of refreshment.
|
|

|
Увійду в дім Твій з жертвами всепалення, виконаю перед Тобою обітниці мої,
|
I will go into thine house with whole-burnt-offerings; I will pay thee my vows,
|
|
14
|

|
|
що їх проголосили уста мої і висловив язик мій у скорботі моїй.
|
which my lips framed, and my mouth uttered in my affliction.
|
|
15

|
|
Великі жертви принесу Тобі з пахощами, принесу Тобі овець, волів і козлів.
|
I will offer to thee whole-burnt-sacrifices full of marrow, with incense and rams; I will sacrifice to thee oxen with goats. Pause.
|
|

|
|
Прийдіть усі, хто боїться Бога, послухайте мене, і я скажу вам, що вчинив Він для душі моєї.
|
Come, hear, and I will tell, all ye that fear God, how great things he has done for my soul.
|
|

|
|
Я взивав до Нього устами моїми і величав Його язиком моїм.
|
I cried to him with my mouth, and exalted him with my tongue.
|
|
18
|
18
|
|
І якби була неправда в серці моїм, то не почув би мене Господь.
|
If I have regarded iniquity in my heart, let not the Lord hearken to me.
|
|
19
|
19
|
|
А Господь почув мене і прихилився до голосу благання мого.
|
Therefore God has hearkened to me; he has attended to the voice of my prayer.
|
|
20
|
20
|
|
Благословенний Господь, що не відкинув моління мого і милости Своєї не відвернув від мене.
|
Blessed be God, who has not turned away my prayer, nor his mercy from me.
|
