| Ти зодягаєшся у світло, як у ризу, простираєш небеса, як шатро. | who dost robe thyself with light as with a garment; spreading out the heaven as a curtain. |

| Підносиш над водами горні палаци Твої, обертаєш хмари на колісницю для Себе, на крилах вітру Ти ходиш. | Who covers his chambers with waters; who makes the clouds his chariot; who walks on the wings of the wind. |

| Ти твориш духів ангелами Своїми і слугами Своїми — вогненне полум’я. | Who makes his angels spirits, and his ministers a flaming fire. |
|

|
| Ти поставив землю на тверді її, не захитається вона повік віку. | Who establishes the earth on her sure foundation: it shall not be moved for ever. |
|

|
| Безодня, як одежа, покриває її; на горах стоять води. | The deep, as it were a garment, is his covering: the waters shall stand on the hills. |

|
| Від повеління Твого вони біжать, від голосу грому Твого тікають. | At thy rebuke they shall flee; at the voice of thy thunder they shall be alarmed. |

|
| Піднімаються на гори і сходять у долини в місце, що Ти призначив для них. | They go up to the mountains, and down to the plains, to the place which thou hast founded for them. |
|

|
| Ти поклав межу, якої не перейдуть вони і не повернуться, щоб покрити землю. | Thou hast set a bound which they shall not pass, neither shall they turn again to cover the earth. |
|

|
| Ти посилаєш джерела в долини, поміж горами течуть [води.] | He sends forth his fountains among the valleys: the waters shall run between the mountains. |

|
| Ти напуваєш усіх звірів польових, дикі осли втамовують спрагу свою. | They shall give drink to all the wild beasts of the field: the wild asses shall take of them to quench their thirst. |
|

|
| Над ними літають птахи небесні, голос їх лунає між віттям. | By them shall the birds of the sky lodge: they shall utter a voice out of the midst of the rocks. |

|
| Ти напуваєш гори з висот Твоїх. Плодами діл Твоїх насичується земля. | He waters the mountains from his chambers: the earth shall be satisfied with the fruit of thy works. |
|

|
| Ти вирощуєш траву для худоби і злаки на користь людям, щоб добути хліб із землі. | He makes grass to grow for the cattle, and green herb for the service of men, to bring bread out of the earth; |
|

|
| І вино веселить серце людини, і єлей намащує лице її, і хліб — підкріпляє серце людини. | and wine makes glad the heart of man, to make his face cheerful with oil: and bread strengthens man's heart. |

| Насичуються дерева польові, кедри ливанські, що Ти насадив їх. | The trees of the plain shall be full of sap; even the cedars of Libanus which he has planted. |

| Там птахи гніздяться, гніздо ж чаплі — найвище. | There the sparrows will build their nests; and the house of the heron takes the lead among them. |
|

|
| Гори високі для оленів; скелі — захисток для зайців. | The high mountains are a refuge for the stags, and the rock for the rabbits. |

|
| Ти створив місяць, щоб визначати час, і сонце знає захід свій. | He appointed the moon for seasons: the sun knows his going down. |
|

|
| Ти насуваєш темряву, і ніч настає; тоді бродить вся звірина лісова. | Thou didst make darkness, and it was night; in it all the wild beasts of the forest will be abroad: |

| Леви ричать за здобиччю і просять від Бога поживи собі. | even young lions roaring for prey, and to seek meat for themselves from God. |

|
| Сходить сонце — вони вертаються назад і лягають у лігвищах своїх. | The sun arises, and they shall be gathered together, and shall lie down in their dens. |
|

|
| Виходить людина для справ своїх і на працю свою до вечора. | Man shall go forth to his work, and to his labour till evening. |
|

|
| Які величні діла Твої, Господи! Все премудро створив Ти; повна земля творіння Твого. | How great are thy works, O Lord! in wisdom hast thou wrought them all: the earth is filled with thy creation. |
|

|
| Ось море велике й просторе; там безліч гадів і тварі малої й великої. | So is this great and wide sea: there are things creeping innumerable, small animals and great. |
|

|
| Там плавають кораблі, і кити, що Ти їх створив вигравати у ньому. | There go the ships; and this dragon whom thou hast made to play in it. |
|

|
| Всі вони на Тебе сподіваються, що даси їм поживу у свій час. | All wait upon thee, to give them their food in due season. |
|

|
| Ти даєш їм — вони приймають. Ти відкриваєш руку Свою — вони наповнюються усяким благом. | When thou hast given it them, they will gather it; and when thou hast opened thine hand, they shall all be filled with good. |
|

| Ти відвертаєш лице Твоє — вони тривожаться; віднімеш дух їх — вони щезнуть і у прах свій повернуться. | But when thou hast turned away thy face, they shall be troubled: thou wilt take away their breath, and they shall fail, and return to their dust. |

| Пошлеш Духа Свого — і створяться, і Ти оновлюєш лице землі. | Thou shalt send forth thy Spirit, and they shall be created; and thou shalt renew the face of the earth. |
|

|
| Нехай буде слава Господня навіки; звеселиться Господь від діл Своїх. | Let the glory of the Lord be for ever: the Lord shall rejoice in his works; |
|

|

|
| Він погляне на землю — і вона тремтить; торкнеться гір — і вони димлять. | who looks upon the earth, and makes it tremble; who touches the mountains, and they smoke. |
|

|
33
|
| Славитиму Господа все життя моє, співатиму Богові моєму, поки живу. | I will sing to the Lord while I live; I will sing praise to my God while I exist. |
|

|
34
|
| Нехай буде благоприємною Йому пісня моя, і я звеселюся в Господі. | Let my meditation be sweet to him: and I will rejoice in the Lord. |
|

|
35
|
| Нехай щезнуть грішники з землі, і беззаконників нехай більше не буде. Благослови, душе моя, Господа! Алилуя! | Let the sinners fail from off the earth, and transgressors, so that they shall be no more. Bless the Lord, O my soul. |
