| Не надійтеся на князів, на синів людських, в них нема спасіння. | Trust not in princes, nor in the children of men, in whom there is no safety. |

| Вийде дух його і вернеться в землю свою; в той день загинуть усі помисли його. | His breath shall go forth, and he shall return to his earth; in that day all his thoughts shall perish. |

| Блажен, кому Бог Якова — помічник його; у кого надія на Господа Бога свого, | Blessed is he whose helper is the God of Jacob, whose hope is in the Lord his God: |

| що створив небо і землю, море і все, що в них; Він береже істину повік, | who made heaven, and earth, the sea, and all things in them: who keeps truth for ever: |

| творить суд покривдженим, дає поживу голодним. | who executes judgment for the wronged: who gives food to the hungry. The Lord looses the fettered ones: |

|
| Господь визволяє закованих, Господь умудряє сліпців, Господь підносить повалених, Господь любить праведників; | the Lord gives wisdom to the blind: The Lord sets up the broken down: the Lord loves the righteous: the Lord preserves the strangers; |

| Господь охороняє пришельців; сироту і вдову прийме, а путь грішників погубить. | he will relieve the orphan and widow: but will utterly remove the way of sinners. |

|
| Царюватиме Господь повіки, Бог твій, Сионе, з роду в рід. Алилуя. | The Lord shall reign for ever, even thy God, O Sion, to all generations. |
