For the end, a Psalm of David, concerning the secrets of the Son.

|
Славитиму [Тебе], Господи, всім серцем моїм, розповідатиму про всі чудеса Твої.
|
I will give thanks to thee, O Lord, with my whole heart; I will recount all thy wonderful works.
|
|

|
|
Буду веселитися й хвалитися Тобою, буду співати імені Твоєму, Всевишній.
|
I will be glad and exult in thee: I will sing to thy name, O thou Most High.
|
|

|
|
Ось повернули назад вороги мої, знесилилися й загинули перед лицем Твоїм.
|
When mine enemies are turned back, they shall be feeble and perish at thy presence.
|
|

|
|
Бо Ти вчинив суд мій і справу мою; Ти сів на Престолі, Суддя праведний.
|
For thou hast maintained my cause and my right; thou satest on the throne, that judgest righteousness.
|
|

|
|
Ти покарав народи, знищив нечестивого, стер ім’я їхнє на віки віків.
|
Thou hast rebuked the nations, and the ungodly one has perished; thou hast blotted out their name for ever, even for ever and ever.
|
|

|

|
|
У ворога не вистачило зброї, міста зруйнував Ти, і згинула пам’ять про нього.
|
The swords of the enemy have failed utterly; and thou hast destroyed cities: their memorial has been destroyed with a noise,
|
|

|

|
|
Господь же перебуває повік. Він приготував для суду Престіл Свій.
|
but the Lord endures for ever: he has prepared his throne for judgment.
|
|

|

|
|
Він буде судити вселенну за правдою, розсудить народи за справедливістю.
|
And he will judge the world in righteousness, he will judge the nations in uprightness.
|
|
10
|

|
|
І буде Господь пристановищем пригнобленому і захистом у скорботі.
|
The Lord also is become a refuge for the poor, a seasonable help, in affliction.
|
|

|
|
І будуть надіятися на Тебе всі, хто знає ім’я Твоє, бо Ти не покинеш тих, хто шукає Тебе, Господи.
|
And let them that know thy name hope in thee: for thou, O Lord, hast not failed them that diligently seek thee.
|
|

|
|
Співайте Господу, що живе на Сионі, сповіщайте між народами про діла Його.
|
Sing praises to the Lord, who dwells in Sion: declare his dealings among the nations.
|
|

|
|
Бо Він карає за пролиту кров, пам’ятає її і не забуде плачу пригноблених.
|
For he remembered them, in making inquisition for blood: he has not forgotten the supplication of the poor.
|
|

|
|
Помилуй мене, Господи, споглянь на приниження моє від ворогів моїх, Ти, що підняв мене від воріт смерти;
|
Have mercy upon me, O Lord; look upon my affliction which I suffer of mine enemies, thou that liftest me up from the gates of death:
|

|
|
щоб я звіщав усі хвали Твої у воротах дочки Сионової. Буду радіти спасінню Твоєму.
|
that I may declare all thy praises in the gates of the daughter of Sion: I will exult in thy salvation.
|
|

|
|
Попадали народи в яму, яку викопали, в сітці, яку потай поставили, заплуталася нога їхня.
|
The heathen are caught in the destruction which they planned: in the very snare which they hid is their foot taken.
|

|
|
Пізнається Господь за судом Його, який Він звершує: нечестивець заплутався у ділах рук своїх.
|
The Lord is known as executing judgments: the sinner is taken in the works of his hands. A song of Pause.

|
|
Нехай зійдуть грішники в пекло — всі народи, що забувають Бога.
|
Let sinners be driven away into Hades, even all the nations that forget God.
|
|

|
|
Бо не назавжди буде забутий убогий, надія покривджених не загине.
|
For the poor shall not be forgotten for ever: the patience of the needy ones shall not perish for ever.
|
|

|
|
Встань, Господи, щоб не підносилася людина, нехай перед лицем Твоїм приймуть суд усі народи.
|
Arise, O Lord, let not man prevail: let the heathen be judged before thee.
|
|

|
|
Постав, Господи, над ними страх Твій, щоб зрозуміли народи, що вони тільки люди.
|
Appoint, O Lord, a lawgiver over them: let the heathen know that they are men. Pause.
|

|
|
Чому Ти, Господи, стоїш далеко і не являєш Себе в час скорботи?
|
Why standest thou afar off, O Lord? why dost thou overlook us in times of need, in affliction?
|
|

|
|
В гордині своїй нечестивий пригноблює вбогого; нехай вони будуть уловлені хитрощами, які самі придумують.
|
While the ungodly one acts proudly, the poor is hotly pursued: the wicked are taken in the crafty counsels which they imagine.
|
|

|
|
Бо грішник хвалиться похотями душі своєї, і гнобитель ублажає себе.
|
Because the sinner praises himself for the desires of his heart; and the unjust one blesses himself.
|
|

|
|
В гордині своїй грішник не визнає Бога, каже він: «Не покарає», бо думає він, що Бога нема.
|
The sinner has provoked the Lord: according to the abundance of his pride he will not seek after him: God is not before him.
|
|

|
|
Повсякчасно шляхи його оскверняються. Суди Твої далекі для нього. На ворогів своїх дивиться зневажливо.
|
His ways are profane at all times; thy judgments are removed from before him: he will gain the mastery over all his enemies.
|
|

|
|
Каже він у серці своїм: «Не похитнуся, з роду в рід не зазнаю лиха».
|
For he has said in his heart, I shall not be moved, continuing without evil from generation to generation.
|
|

|
|
Уста його повні прокльонів, підступів та лукавства; на язиці його мука та злоба.
|
Whose mouth is full of cursing, and bitterness, and fraud: under his tongue are trouble and pain.
|
|

|
|
Він сидить у засідці на краю осель, щоб таємно вбити неповинного, очі його підглядають за бідними.
|
He lies in wait with rich men in secret places, in order to slay the innocent: his eyes are set against the poor.
|
|

|
|
Підстерігає по закутках, як лев у лігві своїм, щоб схопити бідного; хапає і тягне в сіті свої.
|
He lies in wait in secret as a lion in his den: he lies in wait to ravish the poor, to ravish the poor when he draws him after him: he will bring him down in his snare.
|

|
|
Припадає до землі, пригинається, і бідні потрапляють у міцні лапи його.
|
He will bow down and fall when he has mastered the poor.
|

|
Каже він у серці своїм: «Забув Бог, відвернув лице Своє і не побачить ніколи».
|
For he has said in his heart, God has forgotten: he has turned away his face so as never to look.
|

|
|
Воскресни, Господи Боже [мій], нехай піднесеться рука Твоя, і не забудь убогих [Твоїх до кінця].
|
Arise, O Lord God; let thy hand be lifted up: forget not the poor.
|

Чому нечестивий зневажає Бога і каже в серці своїм: «Бог не бачить»?
|
Wherefore has the wicked provoked God? for he has said in his heart, He will not require it.
|
|

|
|
Ти ж бачиш, бо Ти споглядаєш на страждання та пригноблення, щоб відплатити рукою Твоєю. До Тебе вдається бідний, і сироті Ти будь захистом.
|
Thou seest it; for thou dost observe trouble and wrath, to deliver them into thy hands: the poor has been left to thee; thou wast a helper to the orphan.

|
Зломи силу нечестивого й лукавого так, щоб шукати і не знайти злодіянь його.
|
Break thou the arm of the sinner and wicked man: his sin shall be sought for, and shall not be found.
|
|

|
|
Господь — Цар на віки віків, а язичники згинуть з землі Його.
|
The Lord shall reign for ever, even for ever and ever: ye Gentiles shall perish out of his land.
|

|
|
Господи, Ти чуєш бажання вбогих, підкріпи серце їхнє, відкрий вухо Твоє,
|
The Lord has heard the desire of the poor: thine ear has inclined to the preparation of their heart;
|
|
39
|
39
|
|
щоб учинити праведний суд сироті й пригнобленому, щоб не лякала їх людина на землі.
|
to plead for the orphan and afflicted, that man may no more boast upon the earth.
|
