| Велика радість всій землі — гора Сион; з північного боку її — місто Царя великого. | The city of the great King is well planted on the mountains of Sion, with the joy of the whole earth, on the sides of the north. |

| Бог у храмі Своєму знаний як захисник, | God is known in her palaces, when he undertakes to help her. |

| бо ось зібралися царі, зійшлися докупи, | For, behold, the kings of the earth were assembled, they came together. |

| Ми роздумували, Боже, про милість Твою посеред храму Твого. | We have thought of thy mercy, O God, in the midst of thy people. |

| Яке ім’я Твоє, Боже, така і хвала Твоя аж до країв землі. Повна правди правиця Твоя. | According to thy name, O God, so is also thy praise to the ends of the earth: thy right hand is full of righteousness. |

| Нехай веселиться гора Сион, [і] нехай радіють дочки народу Божого заради судів Твоїх, [Господи]. | Let mount Sion rejoice, let the daughters of Judæa exult, because of thy judgments, O Lord. |

| Обійдіть навколо Сиона і розгляньте його, перелічіть вежі його, | Go round about Sion, and encompass her: tell ye her towers. |

| зверніть серця ваші до могутності його, щоб переказати поколінням майбутнім. | Mark ye well her strength, and observe her palaces; that ye may tell the next generation. |
|

|
| Бо цей Бог є Бог наш повіки. Він буде провадити нас повік віку. | For this is our God for ever and ever: he will be our guide for evermore. |
