How amiable are thy tabernacles, O Lord of hosts!

|
Жадає і лине душа моя до двору Господнього; серце моє й тіло моє возрадувалися Богу живому.
|
My soul longs, and faints for the courts of the Lord: my heart and my flesh have exulted in the living God.
|

|
Бо й пташка знаходить собі домівку, і ластівка гніздо собі, щоб вивести пташенят своїх, біля вівтарів Твоїх, Господи Сил, Царю мій і Боже мій.
|
Yea, the sparrow has found himself a home, and the turtle-dove a nest for herself, where she may lay her young, even thine altars, O Lord of hosts, my King, and my God.

Блаженні ті, що живуть у домі Твоїм, повіки вони будуть хвалити Тебе.
|
Blessed are they that dwell in thy house: they will praise thee evermore. Pause.
|

Блаженний муж, який має заступництво своє у Тобі і в якого у серці дорога до Тебе.
|
Blessed is the man whose help is of thee, O Lord; in his heart he has purposed to go up
|

Ідучи долиною плачу, вони знаходять джерела води, Законодавець покриває їх благословенням.
|
the valley of weeping, to the place which he has appointed, for there the law-giver will grant blessings.

|
Вони перейдуть від сили в силу і являться перед Богом на Сионі.
|
They shall go from strength to strength: the God of gods shall be seen in Sion.
|

|
Господи, Боже Сил, почуй молитву мою! Зглянься, Боже Яковів.
|
O Lord God of hosts, hear my prayer: hearken, O God of Jacob. Pause.
|

|
Захиснику наш, Боже! Прихилися і поглянь на лице Христа Твого.
|
Behold, O God our defender, and look upon the face of thine anointed.
|
|

|
Бо один день у дворах Твоїх краще за тисячі днів. Бажаю краще стояти біля порога в домі Бога мого, аніж перебувати мені в палацах грішників.
|
For one day in thy courts is better than thousands. I would rather be an abject in the house of God, than dwell in the tents of sinners.

Бо Бог є сонце й захист. Милість і правду любить Господь Бог і подає славу й благодать. Господь не позбавить блага тих, що ходять у чистоті.
|
For the Lord loves mercy and truth: God will give grace and glory: the Lord will not withhold good things from them that walk in innocence.

Господи, Боже Сил! Блаженна людина, яка уповає на Тебе.
|
O Lord of hosts, blessed is the man that trusts in thee.
