| Благо є сповідуватися Господу і співати імені Твоєму, Вишній. | It is a good thing to give thanks to the Lord, and to sing praises to thy name, O thou Most High; |

| Сповіщати зранку милість Твою і істину Твою на всяку ніч, | to proclaim thy mercy in the morning, and thy truth by night, |

| на десятиструннім псалтирі, з піснею на гуслях. | on a psaltery of ten strings, with a song on the harp. |

|
| Бо Ти звеселив мене, Господи, і я радію від діл рук Твоїх. | For thou, O Lord, hast made me glad with thy work: and in the operations of thy hands will I exult. |

|
| Які величні діла Твої, Господи, і які дивні помисли Твої. | How have thy works been magnified, O Lord! thy thoughts are very deep. |

|
| Безумний не збагне їх і нерозумний не зрозуміє. | A foolish man will not know, and a senseless man will not understand this. |
|

|
| Ось грішники зійшли, як трава, і беззаконники цвітуть, щоб щезнути навіки, — | When the sinners spring up as the grass, and all the workers of iniquity have watched; it is that they may be utterly destroyed for ever. |

| Ти ж Всевишній навіки, Господи! | But thou, O Lord, art most high for ever. |
|

|
| Ось бо вороги Твої, Господи, ось вороги Твої загинуть, і розсіються всі ті, що чинять беззаконня; | For, behold, thine enemies shall perish; and all the workers of iniquity shall be scattered. |

|
| і піднесеться, як у єдинорога ріг, сила моя; і старість моя — в чистому єлеї; | But my horn shall be exalted as the horn of a unicorn; and mine old age with rich mercy. |

|
| і погляне око моє на ворогів моїх, і про лукавих, що повстають проти мене, почує вухо моє. | And mine eye has seen mine enemies, and mine ear shall hear the wicked that rise up against me. |

| Праведник, як фінік, розцвіте, і як кедр, що в Ливані, примножиться. | The righteous shall flourish as a palm-tree: he shall be increased as the cedar in Libanus. |

| Насаджені в домі Господнім у дворах Бога нашого розцвітуть. | They that are planted in the house of the Lord shall flourish in the courts of our God. |

| Вони і в старості будуть множитися, і в доброму здоров’ї перебуватимуть, | Then shall they be increased in a fine old age; and they shall be prosperous; that they may declare |

| щоб сповіщати, що праведний Господь — Бог наш, і нема неправди в Ньому. | that the Lord my God is righteous, and there is no iniquity in him. |
