що стоїте у храмі Господнім, у дворах дому Бога нашого.

Praise ye the Lord; for the Lord is good: sing praises to his name; for it is good.

Хваліть Господа, бо Господь благий; співайте імені Його, бо це добре.

For the Lord has chosen Jacob for himself, and Israel for his peculiar treasure.

Господь обрав Собі Якова, — обрав Ізраїля у насліддя Собі.
|
For I know that the Lord is great, and our Lord is above all gods;

Я пізнав, що Господь великий, і що Бог наш над усіма богами.

all that the Lord willed, he did in heaven, and on the earth, in the sea, and in all deeps.

Все, що хоче, Господь творить на небесах і на землі, в морях і у всіх безоднях;

Who brings up clouds from the extremity of the earth: he has made lightnings for the rain: he brings winds out of his treasures.

|
|
підносить хмари від країв землі, сяє блискавкою серед дощу, виводить вітри зі сховищ Своїх.
|
Who smote the first-born of Egypt, both of man and beast.
|

|
Він умертвив первістків у Єгипті від людей до тварин,
|
He sent signs and wonders into the midst of thee, O Egypt, on Pharao, and on all his servants.
|

|
|
явив знамення й чудеса посеред тебе, Єгипте, над фараоном і над усіма рабами його,
|
Who smote many nations, and slew mighty kings;
|
|

|
|
уразив багато народів і знищив могутніх царів:

Seon king of the Amorites, and Og king of Basan, and all the kingdoms of Chanaan:

|
|
Сигона, царя Аморрейського, і Ога, царя Васанського, і всі царства ханаанські;
|
and gave their land for an inheritance, an inheritance to Israel his people.

|
|
і віддав землю їх у насліддя Ізраїлю, в насліддя людям Своїм.
|
O Lord, thy name endures for ever, and thy memorial to all generations.

|
Господи, ім’я Твоє навіки, і пам’ять про Тебе з роду в рід.
|
For the Lord shall judge his people, and comfort himself concerning his servants.
|

|
|
Бо Господь буде судити народ Свій і змилосердиться над рабами Своїми.
|
The idols of the heathen are silver and gold, the works of men's hands.
|

|
|
Ідоли язичників — срібло й золото, творіння рук людських.
|
They have a mouth, but they cannot speak; they have eyes, but they cannot see;
|
|

|
|
Мають уста і не говорять, мають очі і не бачать,
|
they have ears, but they cannot hear; for there is no breath in their mouth.
|
|

|
|
мають вуха і не чують, і нема дихання в устах їх.
|
Let those who make them be made like to them; and all those who trust in them.
|

|
|
Подібні до них будуть і ті, що роблять їх, і ті, що надіються на них.
|
O house of Israel, bless ye the Lord: O house of Aaron, bless ye the Lord:

|
Доме Ізраїлів! Благословляйте Господа. Доме Ааронів, благословляйте Господа!
|
O house of Levi, bless ye the Lord: ye that fear the Lord, bless the Lord.
|

|
|
Доме Левія, благословляйте Господа. Всі, хто боїться Господа, благословляйте Господа.
|
Blessed in Sion be the Lord, who dwells in Jerusalem.
