A Psalm for Asaph. The God of gods, the Lord, has spoken, and called the earth from the rising of the sun to the going down thereof.

|
Бог богів, Господь промовив і закликає землю від сходу сонця і до заходу.
|
Out of Sion comes the excellence of his beauty.
|
|

|
Від Сиону велич краси Його.
|
God, our God, shall come manifestly, and shall not keep silence: a fire shall be kindled before him, and round about him there shall be a very great tempest.
|
|

|
|
Гряде Бог наш — і не мовчить, перед ним вогонь, що все палить, навкруги Нього сильна буря.
|
He shall summon the heaven above, and the earth, that he may judge his people.
|
|

|
|
Він закликає з висоти небо і землю — судити народ Свій:
|
Assemble ye his saints to him, those that have engaged in a covenant with him upon sacrifices.
|
|

|
|
«Зберіть до Мене святих Моїх, що вступили в завіт зі Мною при жертві!»
|
And the heavens shall declare his righteousness: for God is judge. Pause.
|
|

|
|
Небеса проголосять правду Його, бо Суддя цей є Бог.
|
Hear, my people, and I will speak to thee, O Israel: and I will testify to thee: I am God, thy God.
|
|

|
|
«Слухай, народе Мій, Я буду говорити. Ізраїлю! Я буду свідчити проти тебе. Я — Бог, твій Бог.
|
I will not reprove thee on account of thy sacrifices; for thy whole-burnt-offerings are before me continually.
|
|

|
9
|
|
Не за жертви твої буду докоряти тобі, бо всепалення твої завжди переді Мною.
|
I will take no bullocks out of thine house, nor he-goats out of thy flocks.
|
|

|
10
|
|
Не прийму ні телят від дому твого, ні козлів із дворів твоїх,
|
For all the wild beasts of the thicket are mine, the cattle on the mountains, and oxen.
|
|
10
|
11
|
|
бо Мої всі звірі лісові і тварини на всіх горах.
|
I know all the birds of the sky; and the beauty of the field is mine.
|
|

|
12
|
|
Я знаю всіх птахів небесних і вся краса поля переді Мною.
|
If I should be hungry, I will not tell thee: for the world is mine, and the fulness of it.
|
|

|
|
Коли б я зголоднів, то не сказав би тобі, бо світ увесь Мій і все, що є в ньому.
|
Will I eat the flesh of bulls, or drink the blood of goats?
|
|

|
14
|
|
Хіба Я споживаю м’ясо телят чи п’ю кров козлів?
|
Offer to God the sacrifice of praise; and pay thy vows to the Most High.
|
|

|
|
Принеси Богу жертву хвали і виконай перед Всевишнім обітниці твої.
|
And call upon me in the day of affliction; and I will deliver thee, and thou shalt glorify me. Pause.
|
|

|
16
|
|
І призови Мене в день скорботи твоєї, Я спасу тебе, і ти прославиш Мене».
|
But to the sinner God has said, Why dost thou declare my ordinances, and take up my covenant in thy mouth?
|
|

|
|
А до грішника каже Бог: «Навіщо говориш ти про настанови Мої і завіт Мій береш у вуста свої?
|
Whereas thou hast hated instruction, and hast cast my words behind thee.
|
|

|
|
Ти ж зненавидів настанови Мої і слова Мої відкидаєш від себе.
|
If thou sawest a thief, thou rannest along with him, and hast cast in thy lot with adulterers.
|
|

19
|
|
Коли бачиш злодія, то сходишся з ним, і з перелюбником спілкуєшся.
|
Thy mouth has multiplied wickedness, and thy tongue has framed deceit.
|
|

|
20
|
|
Уста твої невпинно злословлять, і язик твій сплітає підступи.
|
Thou didst sit and speak against thy brother, and didst scandalise thy mother's son.
|
|
20
|
21
|
|
Сидиш і наговорюєш на брата твого і на сина матері твоєї зводиш наклеп.
|
These things thou didst, and I kept silence: thou thoughtest wickedly that I should be like thee; but I will reprove thee, and set thine offences before thee.
|
|

|
|
Ти це робив, а Я мовчав; ти гадав, що й Я такий, як ти. Але Я викрию тебе і поставлю перед тобою [гріхи твої].
|
Now consider these things, ye that forget God, lest he rend you, and there be no deliverer.
|
|

|
|
Зрозумійте ж це ви, що забуваєте Бога, щоб я не зловив вас, і тоді вже ніхто не врятує вас.
|
The sacrifice of praise will glorify me: and that is the way wherein I will shew to him the salvation of God.
|
|

|
|
|
Хто приносить жертву хвали, той прославляє Мене, і це дорога, якою Я явлю йому спасіння Моє».
