| Милості [Твої], Господи, повіки співатиму, з роду в рід сповіщатиму істину Твою устами моїми. | I will sing of thy mercies, O Lord, for ever: I will declare thy truth with my mouth to all generations. |

| Бо Ти сказав: навіки милість перебуватиме, на небесах приготується істина Твоя. | For thou hast said, Mercy shall be built up for ever: thy truth shall be established in the heavens. |
|

|
| «Я заповів завіт обраним Моїм, клявся Давидові, рабу Моєму: | I made a covenant with my chosen ones, I sware unto David my servant. |
|

|
| навіки утверджу нащадків твоїх і збудую з роду в рід престіл твій». | I will establish thy seed for ever, and build up thy throne to all generations. Pause. |
|

|
| Прославлятимуть небеса дивні діла Твої, Господи, і правду Твою в Церкві святих. | The heavens shall declare thy wonders, O Lord; and thy truth in the assembly of the saints. |
|

|
| Бо хто на небесах зрівняється з Господом? І хто подібний до Нього між синами Божими? | For who in the heavens shall be compared to the Lord? and who shall be likened to the Lord among the sons of God? |
|

|
| Бог, що Його прославляють собори святих, великий і страшний для всіх, хто навкруги Нього. | God is glorified in the council of the saints; great and terrible toward all that are round about him. |
|

|
| Господи, Боже Сил! Хто подібний до Тебе?! Всесильний Ти, Господи, і правда Твоя навкруги Тебе. | O Lord God of hosts, who is like to thee? thou art mighty, O Lord, and thy truth is round about thee. |

|
| Ти володарюєш над силою моря і втихомирюєш розбурхані хвилі його. | Thou rulest the power of the sea; and thou calmest the tumult of its waves. |
|

|
| Ти смирив гордого, немов пораненого, і кріпкістю сили Твоєї Ти розсипав ворогів Твоїх. | Thou hast brought down the proud as one that is slain; and with the arm of thy power thou hast scattered thine enemies. |
|

| Твої небеса і Твоя земля. Ти створив всесвіт і все, що наповнює його. | The heavens are thine, and the earth is thine: thou hast founded the world, and the fulness of it. |
|

|
| Північ і південь Ти створив єси. Фавор і Єрмон іменем Твоїм радуються. | Thou hast created the north and the west: Thabor and Hermon shall rejoice in thy name. |
|

|
| Сильні рамена Твої, міцна рука Твоя, високо піднесена правиця Твоя. | Thine is the mighty arm: let thy hand be strengthened, let thy right hand be exalted. |
|

|
| Правосуддя і справедливість — основа Престолу Твого. Милість і істина йдуть перед лицем Твоїм. | Justice and judgment are the establishment of thy throne: mercy and truth shall go before thy face. |
|

|
| Блаженні люди, що знають глас святковий: Господи, у світлі лиця Твого вони ходять, | Blessed is the people that knows the joyful sound: they shall walk, O Lord, in the light of thy countenance. |
|

|
| і іменем Твоїм вони радуються весь день, і правдою Твоєю підносяться. | And in thy name shall they rejoice all the day: and in thy righteousness shall they be exalted. |
|

|
| Бо Ти похвала сили їхньої, і милістю Твоєю підноситься ріг наш. | For thou art the boast of their strength; and in thy good pleasure shall our horn be exalted, |
|

|
| Бо Господь — Захист наш і Святий Ізраїлів — Цар наш. | for our help is of the Lord; and of the Holy One of Israel, our king. |
|

|
| Колись говорив Ти у видінні святому Твоєму і сказав: «Я подав поміч мужньому, підніс обраного з людей Моїх. | Then thou spokest in vision to thy children, and saidst, I have laid help on a mighty one; I have exalted one chosen out of my people. |
|

|
| Я знайшов Давида, слугу Мого, і миром святим Моїм помазав його. | I have found David my servant; I have anointed him by my holy mercy. |
|

|

|
| Рука Моя захистить його і сила Моя підкріпить його. | For my hand shall support him; and mine arm shall strengthen him. |
|

|
| Не подолає ворог його, і син беззаконня не візьме в неволю його. | The enemy shall have no advantage against him; and the son of transgression shall not hurt him again. |
|

|

|
| Розіб’ю перед ним ворогів його, і знищу ненависників його. | And I will hew down his foes before him, and put to flight those that hate him. |
|

|
25
|
| Істина Моя і милість Моя з ним, і ім’ям Моїм піднесеться сила його. | But my truth and my mercy shall be with him; and in my name shall his horn be exalted. |
|

|
| І покладу на море руку його і на ріки — правицю його. | And I will set his hand in the sea, and his right hand in the rivers. |
|
27
|
27
|
| І буде він звати Мене: «Ти Отець мій і Бог мій, твердиня спасіння мого.» | He shall call upon me, saying, Thou art my Father, my God, and the helper of my salvation. |
|
28
|
28
|
| І Я первенця піднесу Мого* високо, вище царів землі. | And I will make him my first-born, higher than the kings of the earth. |
|
29
|
29
|
| Навіки збережу йому милість Мою, і завіт Мій вірний йому. | I will keep my mercy for him for ever, and my covenant shall be firm with him. |
|
30
|
30
|
| І продовжу навіки рід його, і престіл його — як дні неба. | And I will establish his seed for ever and ever, and his throne as the days of heaven. |
|

|
| А якщо сини його покинуть закон Мій і не будуть ходити за заповідями Моїми, | If his children should forsake my law, and walk not in my judgments; |
|
32
|
32
|
| якщо зневажать устави Мої і повелінь моїх не збережуть, | if they should profane my ordinances, and not keep my commandments; |
|
33
|
33
|
| то Я з жезлом прийду на беззаконня їх і з тяжкою карою — на неправду їх. | I will visit their transgressions with a rod, and their sins with scourges. |
|

|
34
|
| Милості ж Моєї не відійму від нього й не переміню правди Моєї, | But my mercy I will not utterly remove from him, nor wrong my truth. |
|

|
35
|
| не зламаю завіту Мого і не зміню того, що вийшло з уст Моїх. | Neither will I by any means profane my covenant; and I will not make void the things that proceed out of my lips. |
|

|
36
|
| Один раз клявся Я святістю Моєю і не скажу неправду Давиду. | Once have I sworn by my holiness, that I will not lie to David. |
|

|

|
| Насіння його перебуватиме повіки, і престіл його — як сонце переді Мною, | His seed shall endure for ever, and his throne as the sun before me; |
|

|
38
|
| як місяць, так буде він стояти вічно. Свідок на небесах певний». | and as the moon that is established for ever, and as the faithful witness in heaven. Pause. |
|

|
| А ось тепер Ти відкинув, занедбав і прогнівався на помазаника Твого. | But thou hast cast off and set at nought, thou hast rejected thine anointed. |
|
40
|
40
|
| Зневажив завіт Твій з рабом Твоїм і скинув на землю вінець його. | Thou hast overthrown the covenant of thy servant; thou hast profaned his sanctuary, casting it to the ground. |
|

|

|
| Ти зруйнував навкруги мури його і твердині його обернув на руїну. | Thou hast broken down all his hedges; thou hast made his strong holds a terror. |
|
42
|
42
|
| Грабують його всі, хто проходить шляхом, став він посміховиськом у сусідів своїх. | All that go by the way have spoiled him: he is become a reproach to his neighbours. |

|

|
| Ти підніс правицю супротивників його, порадував усіх ворогів його. | Thou hast exalted the right hand of his enemies; thou hast made all his enemies to rejoice. |
|

|
| Ти обернув назад вістря меча його і не підкріпив його в бою. | Thou hast turned back the help of his sword, and hast not helped him in the battle. |
|

|
| Відібрав славу його і престіл його повалив на землю. | Thou hast deprived him of glory: thou hast broken down his throne to the ground. |

|
| Ти вкоротив дні влади його і вкрив його соромом. | Thou hast shortened the days of his throne: thou hast poured shame upon him. Pause. |
|

|
| Доки ж, Господи, будеш відвертати від нас лице Твоє, доки буде палати над нами гнів Твій? | How long, O Lord, wilt thou turn away, for ever? shall thine anger flame out as fire? |

|
| Спом’яни, який вік мій. Хіба не на марне Ти створив усіх синів людських? | Remember what my being is: for hast thou created all the sons of men in vain? |
|

|
| Хто з людей пожив і не зазнав смерти? Хто визволив душу свою від руки пекла? | What man is there who shall live, and not see death? shall any one deliver his soul from the hand of Hades? Pause. |
|

|
| Де давні милості Твої, Господи, що ними клявся Ти Давидові в істині Твоїй? | Where are thine ancient mercies, O Lord, which thou swarest to David in thy truth? |

|
| Згадай, Господи, наругу над слугами Твоїми, яку я ношу в серці своїм від сильніших народів. | Remember, O Lord, the reproach of thy servants, which I have borne in my bosom, even the reproach of many nations; |
|

|
| Від ворогів Твоїх, Господи, що знеславлюють ім’я помазаника Твого. | wherewith thine enemies have reviled, O Lord: wherewith they have reviled the recompence of thine anointed. |

|
| Благословен Господь навіки. Амінь, амінь. | Blessed be the Lord for ever. So be it, so be it. |
