| Хваліть Господа, бо благо співати Богу нашому: нехай буде Йому насолодою наша хвала. | Alleluia, a Psalm of Aggæus and Zacharias. Praise ye the Lord: for psalmody is a good thing; let praise be sweetly sung to our God. |

| Господь будує Єрусалим, і розсіяних людей Своїх збере. | The Lord builds up Jerusalem; and he will gather together the dispersed of Israel. |

| Він зціляє розбитих серцем і перев’язує рани їхні. | He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds. |
|

| Знає кількість усіх зірок, і всіх їх за іменами називає. | He numbers the multitudes of stars; and calls them all by names. |

|
| Великий Господь наш, і велика сила [Його], і розуму Його немає числа. | Great is our Lord, and great is his strength; and his understanding is infinite. |

|
| Смиренних підносить Господь, а нечестивих принижує до землі. | The Lord lifts up the meek; but brings sinners down to the ground. |

| Співайте Господу хвалу, співайте Богу нашому на гуслях. | Begin the song with thanksgiving to the Lord; sing praises on the harp to our God: |

| Він покриває небо хмарами і посилає на землю дощ, вирощує на горах траву [і всяку рослину на поживу людям]. | who covers the heaven with clouds, who prepares rain for the earth, who causes grass to spring up on the mountains, and green herb for the service of men; |

| Дає поживу тваринам і всім птахам, що прославляють Його. | and gives to cattle their food, and to the young ravens that call upon him. |

| Не на силу коня дивиться Він, і не на швидкість людських ніг зважає. | He will not take pleasure in the strength of a horse; neither is he well-pleased with the legs of a man. |
|

|
| Господь любить тих, що бояться Його і уповають на милість Його. | The Lord takes pleasure in them that fear him, and in all that hope in his mercy. |
